WindowsWith corporate users worldwide staying entrenched in the XP world through Vista's unglamorous rise to mediocrity, Microsoft knew that there needed to be some compelling reasons to move to Windows 7 for business users. Forget the fact that it's simply a better operating system (as was Vista), why would businesses actually want/need to move from good 'ol XP?

The release of the Windows 7 RC (Release Candidate) has sparked a flurry of interest from the corporate world, by comparison to the launch of Vista. This time around, Windows 7 is poised to provide real, tangible benefits to home and business users alike. When you couple it with Server 2008R2, a raft of fantastic new features emerge.

In coming weeks and months we'll be aiming to keep this news flowing through our site, so corporate Australia can make an educated decision on when (not if), to upgrade to Windows 7.

As a primer, Microsoft has released THIS useful client feature comparison showing some of the key capability differences between XP, Vista and Windows 7. DOWNLOAD IT now and see for yourself.

If you haven't already installed the RELEASE CANDIDATE, grab a spare PC or a Virtual Machine and have a go yourself!
